Code of Conduct for Members of Rainbow Sport Zurich

 

1.     Diversity and Respect:
We commit to promoting and supporting diversity, tolerance, and mutual respect in all activities. This includes in particular the recognition and appreciation of all genders and gender identities, and of sexual orientations.

 

2.     Community and Cohesion:
We see ourselves as part of a community that shares an interest in club life and a passion for sports. We contribute to a positive and supportive environment within the club.

 

3.     Active Participation in Events:
Members are encouraged to actively participate in events that support the LGBTIQA+ community, such as the Zurich Pride Festival, EuroGames, and other relevant events.

 

4.     Fair Play and Integrity in Sports:
We behave fairly and inclusively in sports and in all club activities. Doping, fraud, and unethical behavior are rejected. Violations of these principles are considered a severe breach of the rules and will result in expulsion from the club.

 

5.     No Discrimination or Harassment:
Discrimination, bullying, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Members are urged to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

 

6.     Open Communication and Conflict Resolution:
In case of disagreements or conflicts, members are expected to communicate openly and respectfully and to contribute constructively to solving problems.

 

7.     Respect Towards Coaches and Organizers:
All coaches, organizers, and other responsible persons within the club are to be treated with respect and appreciation for their work.

 

8.     Responsibility:
We behave responsibly in dealing with our fellow club members, financial and ecological resources, and the training facilities.

 

This Code of Conduct is based on the principles of Rainbow Sport Zurich, which emphasize diversity, tolerance, and mutual respect, as well as on the guidelines of the Swiss Olympic Code of Conduct, and is intended to promote an inclusive, respectful, and fair environment within the club.
