Lace up your hiking boots for the Rainbow Sport autumn hike!
Autumn is the most colorful season for outdoor activities, and we want to take advantage of that together! Rainbow Sport Zurich cordially invites you to our autumn hike this year.
This easy to moderate hike in the Flumserberg mountains starts at Maschgenkamm at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level and leads via Leist – Gulmen – Seebenalp to Tannenboden.
When: Saturday, September 26, 2026 (Alternative date: October 3, 2026)
Route: From Maschgenkamm (Flumserberg), the route leads to Leist. From there, it continues to Gulmen.
Here, a fantastic panorama unfolds, encompassing the Churfirsten mountain range, Lake Zurich and the Murg lakes.
Bring your own lunch.
Then it's on via Weller – Melchplatz to Seebenalp (opportunity for a snack at the mountain inn) and back to Tannenboden (Flumserberg)
Return journey: From Flumserberg (same as the outward journey). Take the cable car from Flumserberg back to Unterterzen
and take the train to Zurich
Duration: approx. 5 hours, technically easy, moderate fitness level (T2)
Conditions: The hike will take place in favorable weather conditions. In case of uncertain weather we will decide on the Wednesday
before the hike whether it can take place.
Meeting point: 8:00 a.m. Zurich Main Station (Zürich HB). (We will take the IR 35 at 8:12 a.m. to Unterzerzen and
from there the cable car up to Maschgenkamm).
or 9:15 a.m. Unterterzen (valley station of the cable car)
Tickets: Please purchase your train and cable car tickets yourself using the SBB app.
(Tickets can be purchased for the outward journey directly to Maschgenkamm. The return journey will then be from Tannenboden.)
Equipment: Good hiking boots that provide support, hiking poles (optional), sunscreen, drinks
Food: Lunch: from your backpack on the Gulmen Important: There is unfortunately no fire pit.
Snack break: at the Seebenalp mountain inn, directly by the lake
